The Gala, scheduled for Friday, October 28 and maintained by Dmitri Tcherniakov tell the story Bolshoi over the centuries and propose a unique and exciting journey through the operas and ballets ranging from Russian Mikhail Glinka to Dmitri Shostakovich.
For the occasion, the greatest opera singers of the world were invited to perform on stage at the Bolshoi again: Placido Domingo, Nathalie Dessay, Dmitri Khvorostovski, Angela Gheorghiu, Violeta Urmana.
Will be part of the program also scenes of famous Russian ballets: Spartacus (Khachaturian),Don Quixote (Minkus),Swan Lake(Tchaikovsky), The Age of Gold (Shostakovich), Flames de Paris (Asafiev) with extraordinary étoiles as Svetlana Zakharova, Natalia Osipova, Ivan Gosiliev and all of the Soloists of the Bolshoi Ballet.Opera and ballet are also alternate projections, video installations and arias sung.
